چکیده
AIMS The aims of this study are to evaluate the effectiveness, feasibility and safety Laparoscopy formanaging complicated appendicitis look for postoperative complications as well morbidity, in a tertiarycare hospital.OBJECTIVESTo Laparoscopic Appendicectomy cases Complicated Appendicitis with respect to:1. Mean duration surgical procedure.2. Number days antibiotics given, post operatively.3. Post -operative day-start oral feeds.4. incidence Postoperative morbidity.5. Analgesics required.MATERIALS AND METHODSThis prospective was conducted tertiary care hospital at Ahmedabad on 50 patients who underwentLaparoscopic appendicectomy between June 2022 March 2023CONCLUSIONOur has shown results encouraging use laparoscopic complicatedappendicitis, having found less post- operative morbidity along early start post-operative feeds anddecrease requirement post-op antibiotics.Although method can be technically challenging, but have demonstrated itsfeasibility safety.Although number enrolled is far too small, preliminary show that ourexperiences been encouraging, althoughtechnically demanding, proper technique, it done without much complication. As approach our study, we recommend laparoscopy evenwith appendicitis.

Laparoscopic Management of Complicated Appendicitis
BACKGROUND Complicated appendicitis is associated with a significant risk of postoperative morbidity, making the value of the minimally invasive approach controversial. METHODS From January 2000 to October 2004, 42 patients with complicated appendicitis were categorized into 3 groups: Group 1--perforation, Group 2-abscess formation, and Group 3--generalized peritonitis. The conversion rate, t...
متن کاملLaparoscopic Management of Complicated Ulcer Disease.
Laparoscopic surgery for complicated ulcer disease has to be tailored to the specific needs imposed by the pathology and clinical state of the patient. In the elective situation, patients with concomitant reflux esophagitis and duodenal ulcer disease are best treated by partial crurally-fixed posterior fundoplication and highly selective vagotomy. Patients with resistant prepyloric ulcers and t...
متن کاملLaparoscopic Management of Complicated Urachal Remnants
Managing persistent and symptomatic urachal anomalies requires wide surgical excision of all anomalous tissue with a cuff of bladder tissue via the open approach. We report 7 cases with complete laparoscopic removal of symptomatic urachal remnants with or without a cuff of bladder tissue. We expected that this technique would be less invasive and have lower morbidity. We report on the feasibili...

Jejunoileal diverticulae, also referred to as non-Meckelian diverticulae, are very uncommon. These diverticulae are considered to be acquired pulsion diverticulae and they mostly occur in older people. Their prevalence increases with age. About 80% of these diverticulae occur in jejunum and are usually multiple. Patients with jejunoileal diverticulae present with nonspecific symptoms. The clini...

A few cases of laparoscopic surgery for urachal remnant in children has been reported in English literature. With recent developments in minimal invasive surgery, laparoscopic approach for urachal remnant in adulthood is recommended by some laparoscopic surgeons because of its technical feasibility and safety as well as cosmesis. Recently we experienced a case of complicated urachal remnant in ...
